Hello! I’m Caitlyn. I’m a west coast gal residing in Portland, Oregon. I’ve lived all over the West Coast, went to school at the University of Washington, studied some wine in Sonoma Co., coached a couple swimmers in Southern California, and now I’m back in Oregon doing what I love most – training, teaching, blogging and being a momma!
I’ve always been an active and competitive kid. I swam competitively for 16 years going to Olympic Trials, Nationals, US Open and swimming for the UW. But I also loved many other sports growing up like basketball, softball, track, climbing. Now as an adult I still enjoy the occasional pool time but running, especially on trails, and training currently takes it all. I’m also currently teaching prenatal fitness in Portland for Fit4Mom and the occasional Stroller Strides class!
Now I’m a mom and preparing for #2 in July! I love being a mom to my little girl and look forward to adding another little girl to the mix. Since becoming a mom I have taken on a whole new journey into staying healthy not just for my family but for me most importantly. That’s what I’m here to share and hopefully help inspire you to find a healthy lifestyle that works for you. I’m bringing all of my experience in health and fitness to you and also some of my experience and inexperience in motherhood. I hope you enjoy what I have to say! And never be afraid to reach out.
